Circle is the ‘Construction Industry Recycling Centre for the Local Environment’.
It is situated in Liverpool for sorting and recycling construction waste.
Approximately 90% of the construction waste delivered to Circle will be recycled.
It will be sorted into waste that can be recycled, waste that can be re-sold and a small amount of residual waste that can only be disposed of via landfill.
The cost of taking waste to landfill is increasing year on year, as the landfill tax which is currently levied at £21 per tonne is due to rise to £35 per tonne by 2010. By using Circle instead, contractors will be able to benefit the environment and dispose of their waste in a cost effective manner. The Circle solution to construction waste is a ‘win win’ disposal for all.
Circle is not just for contractors working with Riverside, PLUS Housing Group and G&J Seddon. Any contractor can use Circle for the disposal of construction waste. Circle welcomes everyone’s waste!
